DCD15-IMDRC6 – International conference on motor development and DCD
Client: International Motor Development Research Consortium & International Society for Research and Advocacy for DCD
Location: Ghent, Belgium
Date: 5 – 8 June 2024
A unique scientific gathering
The DCD15-IMDRC6 conference was the first of its kind: a joint event hosted by the International Motor Development Research Consortium and the International Society for Research and Advocacy for Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). This four-day event brought together researchers, therapists, educators, families, and individuals with DCD to share the latest insights into motor development and neurodiverse conditions.
Centred around the theme “Thinking outside the box”, the conference focused on innovative approaches and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve the quality of life for people with DCD. Runmate was appointed as Professional Congress Organiser (PCO) to manage the full production, logistics, and overall experience.
